Yesterday I finally got an email notification that my DNA sample had arrived at the testing facility. At this time if you already have a family tree saved you can link it to your DNA results, for when the results are ready. If you don’t already have a family tree saved on the Ancestry website, you can make a quick basic one as a place holder and add to it once you get your test results back. That’s what I decided to do.
Now I have to wait six to eight weeks for the results to come back. I’m less nervous as I was in my initial post. My excitement however is through the roof. I can’t wait to find out about my ancestry’s past and find out more on my lineage. So, now it’s just playing the waiting game. Luckily the results will be posted right onto my account, so I won’t have to wait for them in the mail!
This was a little on the shorter side, but I wanted to update you all on how everything was going with the test. I hope you all have a wonderful day, night, evening, whatever time it is when you’re reading this.
